Q. I have a fish only with live rock in my 90 Gallon tank. I have a 50/50 and actinic 03 combo. Is this enough lighting? Thanks in advance, Mike.
A. Mike, assuming they're NO (normal output) bulbs the combination you have now is good for a fish only tank, if you decide to get corals you will have to upgrade your lights to VHO (very high output) or halide lighting.
Q. Hi, early this morning I saw a worm that kind of looks like a millipede coming from my live rock. What is it? Thanks, John M.
A. They are bristle worms. Make sure not to touch them because they have bristles that embed themselves in your skin causing severe irritation.
Q. I have a 125 gallon saltwater tank with a wet/dry filter, protein skimmer and a Mag 350 canister filter. The last few days the fish have been darting around and scratching against some rocks. Do I have something to worry about. Thanks, JC.

A. Your fish are in the beginning stages of having ich, you need to attend to this problem immediately. Make sure all water parameters are inline, eliminate any stressor, if possible buy a pair of cleaner shrimp and/or a UV sterilizer.
